One of favourite travel stories was when I was driving Iceland's ring road with my parents last year. We got to the Bnb that we'd be sleeping at for the night pretty late, but of course the sun wasn't going to set so me and my stepdad found a tiny village on the map and decided to drive to it. One winding mountain pass and a one lane tunnel later, we came to a gorgeous fjord shrouded in fog from the ocean. Up in the mountains you couldn't see the ground below. Still one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

This was in Eskifjörður by the way. We drove through it on the way to Neskaupstadur.
