Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy. This little village lies on a hill that it's slowly eroding and that is going to collapse. For this reason it is called 'la città che muore', the dying city. It is, till now, one of the most outstanding and emotional places I've ever been. The sense of beauty and isolation from the rest of the world I felt the first time I saw it with my eyes made me feel alive, proud to be there to see that wonder and while I was approaching the city, linked to the the land with a quite steep ramp, these emotions was growing faster and faster until I finally arrived on the top where I enjoyed that moment. Travelling is exactly this. It is feeling strong emotions that make you happy to be in the place where you are, it is to laugh with friends when you drink beer in a pub in Prague, being amazed by the view of the Sagrada Familia or to be melancholic looking at the Colosseum under the moon. So, everytime I look at this photo, or other photos that give me the same power, even if I'm not much of a photographer, I think to myself 'I need to travel for the rest of my life because I need to feel the beauty of the world'. #takemetoasia #busabout
